Cresco Labs Ohio, LLC operates a cultivation and processing facility in Yellow Springs that opened in October 2018 with a steel greenhouse and processing building. In 2021 Cresco Labs invested roughly $40 million to nearly triple the site's size, adding a 24,000-square-foot processing facility and a 71,000-square-foot cultivation building, creating more than 140 planned jobs. The Ohio processing license allows extraction of oils and manufacture of cannabis products for the state's medical program, and Cresco Labs began adult-use distribution and retail sales in Ohio in August 2024. The company holds processor license MMCPP00041 and dual-use certificate CCP000012-00.
