The company received its provisional cultivation license in November 2017 after scoring second overall in Ohio's licensing process, and achieved its Certificate of Operation in September 2018. Grow Ohio's flagship Butterfly Effect brand was the first processed cannabis product sold to Ohio medical patients in 2019, and the company later introduced Ohio's first honey product and first luster pod technology.
